XY's still coughing a little. I'm very worried coz she has a concert this Saturday. It's her kindy's graduation ceremony for the Year 6 students. She'll be performing a Malay dance and she was chosen to introduce the dance. The weekend before we went to Penang, her teacher gave me the speech. It has 5 sentences. I practised with her over that weekend. And she managed to memorise the speech within 3 days. I was so impressed.
Today they had a rehearsal at the actual venue. I asked her what the teacher said after her little speech. Her teacher said she's not loud enough. When she practised in front of me, she's fine. But when she did it in front of a bigger group at home, she tends to mumble to herself and be very shy. I hope she'll talk loudly and clearly on the stage, in front of so many spectators.

maybe it would be good if she can practise once in front of someone she's not too comfortable with? a neighbour perhaps?
Get well soon..and don't worry she will be ok on the stage...
oh wow, that's quite something for a little girl to do. i dont blame her for being a little nervous. good luck XY!!! i hope she'll do great!
maybe if u tell her to talk louder like screaming, then it will just be nice during the ceremony..
hope she gets well soon
aiks they don't give her a mic thingy to talk.
wah intro dance..sure nice, make sure record it ok ;)
On behalf of XY: Tq all for ur words of encouragement.
I hope she can speak out on the actual day. She oredi know it by hard, jes hope she doesn't get too nervous with so many spectators. Will practise more with her.
Jacss, yeah.. I'm vy proud of her that her teacher chose her.
Paik Ling, that's a good idea but can't find anyone unfamiliar for her to practise in front of.
Wen, she doesn't need to scream, jes need to speak clearly as they hv mic.
Jazz, she mumbles, so with mic oso cannot hear well. Will definitely record it.
