(a) Nowadays, I scold (the other drivers) a lot when I'm behind the wheels. :p Bad influence from hubby. hahaha
(b) I don't have any decorations in my car -- nothing on the dashboard or dangling from the mirror. Don't know why, but I guess it's a good thing as there's no obstruction of view.
(c) Currently, I'm using 12 types of products for my facial regimen (of coz, not all at the same time lah). Errr... but but but how come my face not smooth like tofu. :p
(d) I like to hug a bolster to sleep.
(e) I don't really know how to whistle.
(f) Recently, I discovered that it's very easy and convenient to download English movies/series from the internet. Looking for the right subtitles (that sync with the show) is a breeze too.
(g) I have difficulty sleeping after drinking chinese tea.

It's been so long I've not done tags. This time, I was tagged by a new friend, Alice Law. New coz I only got to know her (via her blog about her 2 lovely kids) this year. ;-)

The story
It was December 2006. We've just bought our very first DSLR camera and I was taking pictures of little CE (7 months old then). XY, the kepoh girl (3½ years old then), requested for her pictures to be taken too. She posed, I snapped. *chik chak chik chak* And that's one of her cheeky pose.

Best Mom Award

I received this honourable award from little prince's mummy, Wen and MummyInVain. Thank you so much! I wouldn't dare to claim I'm the best mom but hopefully in my kids' eyes, I am their best mami. :-)

Being able to stay at home, attending to the kids every needs and witnessing all their developmental milestones is my best experience as a Mom. Although they drive me up the wall on a daily basis, I've no regrets. I do complain and feel suffocated at times, but hey, I'm only human. If I have to choose all over again, I'd still want to be their slave. Their growing up years zoom by very fast. I consider it a privilege to be there for them every step of the way.

20. HOW MANY HOURS WERE YOU IN LABOR? From admission to delivery, 4 hours. But pain (at 5-7 minutes interval) actually started 4 hours before admission.
21. WHO DROVE YOU TO THE HOSPITAL? Hubby.
22. WHO WATCHED YOU GIVE BIRTH? Hubby and of course the gynae and nurses. hahaha
23. WAS IT NATURAL OR C-SECTION? Natural.
24. DID YOU TAKE MEDICINE TO EASE THE PAIN? Just Ethonox (laughing gas), which wasn't really working for me!

8 Random Things About Me

I owe Mummy Gwen this tag for quite some time already. I've done it last year, but would like to share more about me so we can get to know each other better. Apart from this 8 Random Facts About Me, here's another 8 :

1. I feel guilty if I don't brush my teeth at night. So sometimes if I've fallen asleep with the kids, I'll get up to brush them if I happen to wake up in the middle of the night, even at 3am. Siao or not?

2. I attended 2 years of kindergarten (2 different kindy), which is quite rare for my generation. I don't know, maybe my parents thought I'm a nuisance staying at home. LOL

3. My ambition when I was in secondary school was to be a policewoman. Too much influence from the Hong Kong TVB series at that time, especially with very good looking male cops. :p

4. I'm rather quiet, a person with few words. My girl definitely didn't inherit this trait of mine. When in a big group, I tend to be the listener. Maybe in a one-on-one conversation, I'll have more things to say. :D

5. I have sweaty palms. Very troublesome during school examinations (need to bring along hanky) and rather embarrassing when need to shake hands with people or hold hands on dates.

6. Since I got my motorcycle license at 18 years old, it has been my common mode of transportation till I started working in KL. I'd go anywhere in Penang on my bike. And during my Uni days, I'd go around campus on my bike too. But after so many years of not riding one, I don't dare to ride on my own anymore. Don't mind riding pillion, though.

7. I don't have good fashion sense. When I try on clothes, I need to 'consult' hubby if they look good on me. Usually I need his green light before I buy them. Hubby always complain that I can't make my own decision.

8. I have small feet, size 4. Soon, XY and I can share footwear already. hehehe

* Risks for breast cancer include a family history, atypical hyperplasia, early menstruation (before age 12), late menopause (after age 55), current use or use in the last ten years of oral contraceptives, and daily consumption of alcohol.
