Bump On The Head

~ can you see his 'bungalow'? ~

CE is quite a clumsy boy. He always knocks his head here and there. He fell down so many times that I’ve lost count already. Sometimes he'll bruise his lips, with heavy bleeding. Last week, he was standing, holding and tugging my shirt, and suddenly, he fell down and bruised his upper lip. There was some bleeding but luckily he didn’t chip his teeth.

Today, he’s got a new bump on the head. I was carrying him near the door (which was open) and he tried to reach out for something, which caught me off-guard. His head knocked the padlock handle which juts out of the grille door frame. I think it must have hurt a lot coz he cried for quite some time. And it got swollen almost immediately. So now he’s got a 'bungalow' on the right side of his forehead. *ouch!*

For us parents, we really feel the heartache and pain when our kids fall and hurt themselves but for the kid, they don't seem to get scared or hv phobia though they hv fallen many times. My Sherilyn is just like that, samseng like a boy, always gets herself involved in minor accidents but yet, never seem to be scared, sigh.....

no matter how careful we all are, our children is bound to get bruises.... but that is part of growing up, isn't it?
Like many parents used to say,"Wound on your body, hurt in my heart"
