Warranty Period Almost Over

A few weeks back, I realised that my trampoline's cover was torn, revealing the sponge. I remember I bought it in August last year so the 1-year warranty's going to be over soon. I searched for the receipt and called up the outlet. The guy told me that for the cover, the warranty's only for half a year. Huh? But the receipt just states that warranty's 1 year, without differentiating the cover and other spare parts.

Anyway, I asked him to check for me how much it'll cost just to change the cover. He called me back later and informed me RM45. So expensive! I bought the trampoline for RM120 but the cover's RM45. Might as well buy a new one, and get another year's warranty, right? He also told me that the torn cover doesn't affect the usage, just that it doesn't look nice. hahaha It's not a home decoration or something, I can live with the torn cover.

~ torn ~

I also asked what I should check to make sure the trampoline's working fine. Better ensure it's in good condition while still in the warranty period. He said to check the springs, make sure they're not broken. If they are, you'd feel off balance when you jump. Okay, checked! The springs are all fine.

As for my exercise regime, it was 2 to 3 times a week at the beginning. But since April (since my previous maid left), I've not been very hardworking. I stopped for a period of time. Partially it was because the new Kakak couldn't handle my boy that well. So he won't leave me alone to workout in the room. Now I'm slowly getting back the momentum. It really does feel great after some jumping, even if it's just for 15 minutes. Must try to keep it up. No more excuses. :p

RM120 for this? Not that expensive, huh? It's the exercise that keeps you slim and fit, right (just saw the group photo taken in Chinnee's house)? I think I should also jump with my children on the trampoline. Good exercise!

The cover on my trampoline is also peeling off. And amen to what you've said. It sure feels great after a good work-out! You must try to work-out more :)

small tear only...no point replacing. Maybe can put some strong transparent tape over it to prevent the tear from getting larger? The trampoline looks fun to be on! Do you allow CE & XY to go on it as well?

Joanne, I've seen cheaper ones in Tesco. But not sure abt the quality. I bot mine from a fitness shop.
Do try it, it's good exercise. But depending on the size, it may not be suitable to hv so many ppl jumping on it together.
Btw, I'm not considered fit n slim leh, just small-sized. :)

Shireen, u're my inspiration. So bz yet go jogging n trampoline-jumping. ;)

Paik Ling, we initially bot it for XY. Her kindy has it so she knows how to 'use' it. As for CE, we've to hold his hands. N he's still learning to jump (lift up both legs).

Wen, u ah... misleading ppl oni lah. Mana ada slim flat stomach? :p
My aim is to get the heart to pump harder n sweat, not so much for losing weight. Can oso exercise the hands while jumping. For abdominal muscles, lie down n do leg raise exercise.
It's a good idea to get 1 for the kids. So they'll jump n sweat it out instead of jumping on the wrong places. :)

Kylie, but it's such a convenient excuse to say "no time". :p

NomadicMom, go for more shopping sprees. hehehe

Anggie, I don't know abt losing weight, but it's a good work-out to sweat n get the heart to work a bit harder.

Yatie, it's always easier to find an exercise that can be done at home, anytime.

Siew Ting, vy misleading hor.

June, pls don't trust Wen. I still carry a small pouch everywhere I go. *shhhh* Dun tell any1, ok? hehehe
Yeah... I hv a no-photo-of-myself policy on this blog. :D But I gave Jacss the permission to 'expose' me in one of her posts. :D

Jac, ur lunches r vy healthy mah nowadays. Can consider getting 1 for them. It's a good outlet to release their pent-up energy.

TheBlueRanger, fun for the kids, good exercise for mommy. :)

hahha..lately i just so "tempt" to get one trampoline! At least on the day i didnt go to gym, i can work out at home too! hahahahahhahahah

It would be nice to have one in the home, but it's really the kids I'm afraid of, they will definitely fight over it, and if they push one another while on the trampoline and fall on the sides, it's gonna be pretty teruk right? The frame is hard mah...

Annie, wait no more, go get 1 for ur home. U can exercise n the boys can release some pent-up energy.

Sue, set the rules, if don't want to take turns, both don't get to jump.
