And we're terrible earthlings. I totally forgot about Earth Hour when we left the house. So I didn't instruct Kakak to switch off the lights. Anyway, I don't think it's a good idea to leave her alone in the house with candles. I'm sure she'd freak out. Never mind, I'll try to do my part another day.
Back to the dinner, I think the kids enjoyed it the most. As we're not a big fan of raw food, the rest of the food are just normal. XY ate some fried rice, then started enjoying the desserts (wafer rolls, marshmallows, muar chee, fruits and ice cream). Didi ate more 'proper' food (fried rice, vegetables and noodles) before he attacked the desserts. He doesn't really like cold stuff. When he takes cold stuff, he'd tell me it's very cold. He'll leave them for later or eat just a teeny weeny bit at a time. I think he prefers melted ice cream.

Kids like to check out washroom one whenever they go out regardless there are clean or dirty one..not only CE only...wondering why...
Anywhere it is special to have something different, glad that everyone enjoy it...CE is same to Terry, he don't know how to eat ice-cream, even a melt one also not so keen..same, he also no fancy of cold stuff.
Hi Slavemom, wow! Bangi has an Equatorial hotel now? By the beach I supposed?
I used to go to Bangi fairly often those days, lots of rubber estates and hardly many homes.
Guess times have changed.
My last trip back to KL, I couldn't even recognize Ampang road or Bukit Bintang, ha ha.
You have a great weekend, stay young, Lee.
Slavemom, you have great looking kids. Can see where they get their attractive looks from, *wink*, Lee.
Good wor the hotel. I totally forgot about Earth Day too and we were outside dining with friends.
Next time leave the kids with someone at home so you and Hubby can "pak toh" lor..hehe. For me, I don't have the chance coz Gwen only stick to me.
Nice dinner.. :)
Sometimes my 3yo ziyi also like to check out the toilet and poo, it was very annoying with that little interruption....
What a nice ambience! Wonder how much they charge per person?
Both my kids love ice cream, yummy!
Don't ask kakak to light candles - she might burn the whole house down :O
Chehhhhhhhh i thought got romantic post ahead kekekeke
oooo I totally forgotten about the Earth Hour... heheehheh EQ also doing their bit to turn down their lights..which is not a bad idea after all..creating romantic dinners n they can save on the elec bill.
Oh well..treat it as one happy family outing together.
I totally forgot about Earth Day too this year. Yup, don't ask kakak to switch off the lights. Paik Ling is right, LOL!!
he hehh... funny that he likes to poo after a meal outside!
Haha! I laugh out loud even though I'm in the same boat as you :) Yeah, dining out with kids is barely a relaxing and enjoyable thing. I have to admit, though, that my kids are well behaved. But of course, there's others too, like the bathroom trips and making sure they're eating their food, etc. Sometimes I see how dreadful other kids are in restaurants and I'm soooo thankful for my obedient ones.
i haf forgotten bout earth hour too .. felt so bad after tt. :(
when it comes to ice-cream .. sure the kids would wallop wateva their stomach can hold .. hehehhhe.
Cheh! I thought really candle light dinner for 2!!! Got tricked! haha.
What goes in must come out. So, I guess didi is at that phase now...He'll get over it, someday, just like how my boy did. keke.
Its double cool isn't it?
The lights off and the ice-cream... *wink*
wah syiok makan buffet. But kids.. just love buffet cos free flow of ice cream :P
I prefer my kids eat ice cream like soup coz it is not cooling anymore better for them hehe
mine nowadays saje tells me she wanna shee2 just to go wash hands. then sampai toilet de, she tells me nothing wor. keksim! haha!
my lil missy doesn't seems to like icecream though... hmmm... belum masa kot :)
Unc Lee, EQ Bangi is not by the beach. The hotel's quite old actually, has been there more than 10 yrs edi.
Alice, the Japanese buffet is RM72++ for adults and RM36++ for children btw 4-12 yo.
it has been a long time since i went kampachi. i love thier buffet, except the crowd, esp for the one in KL. i always feel its a waste of money to bring kids for buffet. they eat so little, and you have to pay 50% of the adults price!!!
didn't know KL has a kampachi as well! wow wow wow...
i love jap food esp those raw ones! hahaha...
so romantic dinner...:)
wow, i love ice-cream too..
Ha.. so cute.. doesn't like cold stuff.. and eat ice cream like drinking soup.
hehe, when it comes to icecream, like good soup, it's good till the last drop :).
i'm glad u all had a nice time dining out together!
