Hubby, who doesn't mind spending the amount (not a lot, actually) and also because he's not very patient, came back with the full set last Friday. So we spent the weekend doing TV marathon. We watched 19 episodes in 2 days' time and we've finished the series! *phew*
As it's a couch potato weekend, we didn't bring the kids anywhere (except for dinner on Saturday). So they were confined at home, with no TV to watch and no Wii games to play from afternoon onwards. Of course they created a lot of havoc - running around the house chasing each other, playing rough, snatching toys, making A LOT of noise, etc. They got scolded countless times. But can't blame them, right? At least they kept themselves occupied while the parents are glued to the idiot box. :p
~ one of the things they did to entertain themselves ~

Oh, lately I've heard so much about this Spore drama. How do u find it? Hahh..your kids really had loads of fun and they look cute with the headgears (looks like badminton cover to me).
Cynthia, hahaha u oso a drama addict eh? :)
Rachel, nope, it's Mandarin. But got Eng subtitles. Astro got BM subtitles mah.
Fussy mum, it's interesting to know abt the Peranakan heritage n their customs. The heroine of the show vy 'cham' one. Always kena bully. Really pitiful. But it has a good ending. :)
Yup, those r badminton covers on their head. Funny kids, rite? :D
Aiyo... so nice! I only managed to watch few episodes during weekends as most of the time my boy would ask me to accompany him in our bedroom. He loves to play in our bedroom and forbids me to go to living room to watch the idiot box! sigh...
actually i've also heard a lot abt this series leh....but the timing of the show not convenient for me to catch, hence i missed it :(
wuah kawan....now, u really tempted me to buy the whole series edi...i love rotting at home to catch series, hahaha but kesian the kids la like u said, LOL!!
But your kids look like they are having a ball there! so happy! so nice of you guys to be potatoes for the weekend! hahaha
wah first thing, it's good the kids stayed at home cos of the H1N1virus spreading, BEST to let them stay at home *wink*

I am addicted to this Sg drama too....can't wait till next Monday to catch up the next episode. How much did ur hubby bought the VCD??
i will usually "chase" tvb dramas. but i am selective coz i would want to finish the whole series in the shortest time possible *haha* that's bad for health :)
One reason why I don't have astro, so I won't get addicted to these series.
isnt it great to ignore the kids once in a while?! hehehheee call me mean but i think its healthy for the parents to have their own fun once in a while! :p
I heard this show is very hit..haha. But I don't quite like SG chinese serials lah..hehe. But your kids very cute lah...they can really entertain themselves.
my fren offered me her nyonya vcd n im hesitating if i shld take lol at tis moment im watching hk series 2 at the same time lol
My hubby is like a drama series marathon participant....he must finish one drama in one day!! sometimes we spent our Sunday in room watching drama, while little gal follow her aunt around....hahaha! We so lazy that we order special delivery (McD's) and eat in the room. :p
same with my kids, if no tv, psp or ps2, they will do somthing silly. and suddenly i feel that the money i spent on their toys are so worth it! lol
I'm also stuck with little nyonya every night, after she sleeps. Y'day watch till 1am. *yawn*. kan cheong and kek sam !
Hahaha, that's why it's called the idiot box!! Can be quite addictive, eh?
Oh wow! really salute you, 19 episodes in 2 days! wow wow wow! looks like ur kids are getting really creative with ur badminton covers! ha ha!
Hi, am a mom also. . . i love reading your post! very nice!
Ahahaha... thats indeed very cute hat! Same here, big fans of Little Nyonyah!

and...that's right? what do you expect the kids to do? Nonya...its just NOT their taste... *laugh*
I have missed the first few episodes of Lil Nyonya, therefore I give up to watch it.
But I have heard it is a very good drama. No wonder you can watch the whole drama within 2 days. Geng!
2 of the kids are so cute! My hubs also like to watch the Nyonya show, and Yan Yan become follower too...
Hi Slavemom, I have heard of this Nyonya show. Pity we can't get it here. My mom was a pure Nyonya.
Best regards, Lee.

Hui Sia, quite interesting. Read my earlier reply to Fussy mum.
Hazel, good idea for adults but not for the kids.
Shireen, it's quite time-wasting actually. I guess if u hv the time, u'd rather do something more productive. :)
Jazz, in that case, u masak series, he take care of the kids loh. hahaha
MeRy, RM20+. It's recorded from the Singapore channel.
2ma, I agree, it's bad for health. :)
Mich, smart move.
BabyBooned, how I wish we can ignore them more often. hahaha
Mummy Gwen, I can watch any TVB series but quite selective in Sgp series. I think it's becoz of the actors. :)
Alicia, since u've got the VCD, can take ur time to watch.
Rose, wow... that's really intensive watching. hehehe
Wen, silly nvm. As long as they dun get hurt.
Elaine, finished the show edi?
Jo-N, VERY addictive!
