Naptime Experiment

CE's been diaperless (except for naptime and sleep at night) for almost a year already. When he wakes up from his nap, his diaper is usually just slightly wet. It has never been completely dry. But I wanted to give it a try.

Today I did an experiment. I asked him to pee before he drank his milk (he drinks 7 ozs everyday before his nap). Then I asked him if it's okay if he doesn't wear a diaper to nap. He said "okay". I kept reminding him that he needs to wake up to pee as he's not wearing a diaper. After he's finished his milk, I let him pee again. Then off to slumberland. I put a rubber mat under him, just in case. Halfway through his nap, I had to readjust the mat because he's no longer sleeping on it. Good thing he was sleeping like a log. :-)

He woke up about 1.5 hours later, without wetting his pants. Yay! He didn't even need to pee immediately. It's definitely a good start. Let's see how it goes for the next few days coz usually he'll nap for 2.5 to 3 hours. But I'll wait till he's really ready for the night time training. This mommy too lazy. :p

Great start CE. Keep it up! Your mommy will surely proud of you.

Actually I also started notice that Sarah can hold her bladder well, but I just never try to put her diaperless when she was having her nap.

YOU lazy? hah!! what lah! i think ure doing great!

i dunno howww i'm gonna ask gib to go diaperless. he doesnt want to stand when peeing; always insisting to sit down on the throne. it is too leceh for me to call the maid to lift him up. i'm gonna have to get a couple of foot stools and be more rajin about bringing him to the loo. sighhhhh

lately Jeremy show un-willingness on wearing diaper... everynight i put on, he will said, diaper is full and wanna to take off ... but i was just wear it 5 minits ago ...properly he just dun like to wear diaper anymore.. cos he was not wearing diaper day time .... it's that means the right time to start train him diaperless night time too ???

Oh... but i just too tired and lazy to start, cos i know i have to wake him up every 2 to 3 hour to pee.... and i not sure he is ok with it or not ??? *-*

Hi! My name is Bonnie. I'm a friend of Debbie's. She is out of town for 10 days and asked me to guest blog while she is gone. I'm so excited to meet all of Debbie's blog friends.

I have two little boys- 12 and 2 years old.

I'm currently working on potty training my 2 year old. It's not easy! It's been so long since my first son was that age - I've forgotten how to do it! Wish me luck! LOL!

I enjoyed reading your blog. Feel free to chat with me through Debbie's blog. Thanks for letting me visit. Have a great day.
