Brown Water

There was no water supply late last night. Usually we'll get dirty water once the supply is back. When I bathed CE this morning, the water was brown in colour. :-|

~ CE bathed with this ~

The colour was like the above after throwing away almost 10 pails of water. So can you imagine the colour of the earlier batch? Ewww... Anyway, I still bathed him but washed his face with "cleaner" water from the basin tap.

I really don't know how come the water in the second shower room is so dirty. The water from the master bathroom and taps downstairs is just a little cloudy (even with a filter outside the house). Good thing I have another filter in the kitchen. Sigh... we have to pay for this kind of water. Maybe we should dig our own well. hahaha

  3. I had this as well earlier when the water supply in my area was disconnected for a day! and normally, we will switch off the main pipe also, coz if there is any maintenance work, the dirty stuff will counter-flow balik into our pipe and make the water very dirty...

  8. You should really invest in a master filter. Msian water is really bad, even for bathing, it's bad for eczema and sensitive skin

  14. In this case, I would think may be not only the problem of the water, may be the filter is not as good as the way it advertise too. Hahaha......

  20. Ah boy no longer bathe in brown water after that. :) Phew...

Rachel, I think so too. The weird thing is, both bathrooms upstairs share the same heater tank. But how come the water in the master bathroom not that brown? *scratch head*

Cynthia, does switching off the mains work? So u dun get any dirty water after the supply's back?

Mich & coffeescookies, we do hv a master filter outside the hse.

Mummy Gwen, yeah, it's from the heater tank. But really dunno how it works one loh.

Jacelyn, this is normal after water disruption. Jes that this time, it takes longer to clear the dirty water.

Olive, he doesn't really care. hehehe

  21. Yeah I hate no water supply as it causes a lot of messiness... "brown color water" is one of that, makes the filter so dirty!

  22. The colour of water looks like tea.....

  23. Maybe caused by the dirty water tank or the rusty water pipes in your house? You can actually hire someone to come and wash your water tank.

  28. Shireen, oh, there's such service? Maybe we shld consider it.

Jac, lazy lah to move him to another rm. Moreover, the shower head in the master rm is hi up on the wall. The 2nd bathroom is the pipe type. I dunno how to bathe him w/o the pipe. :p
